The Epirus waste management PPP reaches its final phase

The final tender documents were issued for the implementation of the Epirus waste management PPP and candidates are invited to submit their binding offers on April 2nd, 2014.

Candidates concluded the competitive dialogue procedure and are invited to receive the tender documents for Phase II as follows:

  3. ARCHIRODON GROUP - INTRAKAT - ENVITEC
  4. TOXOTIS
  5. MESOGEOS - J&P AVAX
  6. ERETVO-DOMOSPORT-EGNON

The private partner will undertake the design, construction, financing, maintenance and operation of the waste management facilities for the Region of Epirus for a period of 27 years. The relevant infrastructure will have the capacity to manage about 150 thousand tons of waste annually, which includes all municipal solid waste generated throughout the area of Epirus.

The lowest fee to be paid by the users will constitute the main selection criterion, while meeting all environmental goals. The project will be co-financed by the European Union's structural funds.
